Automotive glass industry veteran to lead brand growth

LEWISVILLE, TEXAS (Oct. 24, 2023) – The Caliber family of brands, including Caliber Collision, alongside Caliber Auto Glass and Caliber Auto Care, welcomed Troy Mason as the new SVP for Caliber Auto Glass. In this role, Mason will oversee all brand operations, including business expansion, go-to-market strategies and customer experience, all in support of Caliber’s purpose of Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life®.

Caliber Auto Glass offers comprehensive repair and replacement services for damaged glass and windshields and expert diagnostic and calibration services on today’s advanced vehicle safety systems. Currently serving 23 states and growing, Caliber Auto Glass is committed to getting drivers safely back on the road and back to what’s important to them.

Mason brings to Caliber an impressive background, most recently as the president and CEO of TechnaGlass Inc. for over 28 years. Under Mason’s direction, TechnaGlass became one of the largest multi-state auto glass service providers, growing from one location to more than 60, spanning 12 states and serving millions of customers.

In 2017, Mason partnered with a private equity group to consolidate the industry and completed more than 20 acquisitions, becoming the second-largest auto glass company in the country, with 130-plus locations in 23 states.

"We are fortunate to have someone like Troy with such extensive auto glass industry and leadership experience that will benefit our teammates and drive continued growth and success for our business,” said David Goldstein, Chief Growth Officer for Caliber. “Under Troy’s guidance, Caliber Auto Glass will continue investing in our people, processes and technology, uniquely positioning us to gain market share.”

Mason attended the University of Utah and is a US Air Force veteran. His leadership skills and passion for the auto glass industry have been invaluable to multiple organizations throughout his career, including serving on the board of directors and as president of the National Windshield Repair Association, the board of directors and Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard committee member for the Auto Glass Safety Council and as a member of the retail auto glass committee for the National Glass Association.
