Four families receive newly refurbished vehicles.
The Caliber family of brands, including Caliber Collision and Caliber Auto Care alongside Caliber Auto Glass, gifted four vehicles with our partner, National Auto Body Council, earlier this month in Las Vegas at the first-ever NABC Recycled Rides® gifting held at a NASCAR race. Caliber teammates proudly lived our purpose of Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life® and provided reliable transportation for four deserving families, including one military member.
Auto body technicians from four Caliber Collision centers in Meridian, Idaho; Millcreek, Utah; and the Zaragoza and West locations in El Paso, Texas, donated their time and talents to restore the vehicles to like-new condition. Speedway Children Charities – Las Vegas chapter selected the recipients with assistance from their partners, including the Children's Foundation of Las Vegas, Valley View Community Cares, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the YMCA of Southern Nevada.
Over the exciting weekend-long event, two recipient families received their vehicles in front of race fans on Saturday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Fan Zone stage. And on Sunday, the remaining families were presented their cars on the pre-race stage just before the green flag waved in the Pennzoil 400 NASCAR Cup Series race.
Caliber is a proud partner of the NABC Recycled Rides® program, gifting more than 500 vehicles to military members, veterans, front-line workers and local heroes since 2012. The program aims to provide recipients with reliable transportation, restoring their independence and the ability to work and care for their families and getting them back on the road to what matters most. Caliber and the NABC Recycled Rides® partnership is an example of the programs that Caliber supports as part of our Restoring You™ platform, which gives back to teammates, customers and the local communities where we live and work.
