Caliber’s TAP mentors – mentoring and inspiring the next generation of auto body technicians
Caliber and our family of brands, Caliber Collision, alongside Caliber Auto Glass, Caliber Auto Care and Caliber Fleet Solutions, are highlighting January’s National Mentoring Month. Launched in 2002, this designation celebrates the power of relationships, drives meaningful change, and expands quality mentoring opportunities.
Every day at Caliber we celebrate a special group of teammates who act as mentors and make an incredible impact on the skilled, passionate workforce dedicated to the future of auto body repair.
Our proprietary Technician Apprentice Program (TAP), is a 10-12 month paid training program offering free, hands-on auto body technician education for veterans and anyone wanting a rewarding new career. Motivated by Caliber’s Purpose of Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life®, experienced auto body technicians serve as mentors to TAP apprentices, guiding and educating the next generation of collision repair professionals. Mentors instruct apprentices in a collaborative, supportive live-repair shop environment and a robust, team-focused culture. While sharing their expert knowledge and passion for their craft, TAP mentors earn special bonuses when apprentices graduate and become certified Caliber auto body technicians at one of our 1,700-plus centers.
We sincerely thank Caliber TAP mentors who inspire apprentices to reach their full potential every day.
Are you ready to elevate your career? Start your TAP journey today!
